Position Papers
The attached statements reflect what the Fellowship believes to be the biblical position on various social issues.
Each issue was carefully researched and reviewed. The positions as stated were developed by Fellowship leaders and reviewed by our local church pastors and congregations, with many suggested revisions and clarifications along the way. Ultimately, each statement was approved by member church delegates at an Annual General Meeting.
Our goal is to clarify what we believe the Bible says about these social issues, then offer suggestions on how local congregations can respond to the biblical material to help their people “become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life …” (Philippians 2:14-16 NIV).
