Connect is the annual gathering of the FEBC (formerly known as the “FEBC Convention”). Pastors, leaders, and congregation members from around the FEBC gather in one place to fellowship, learn, worship, and to conduct the business of our organization. The goal of Connect is to connect you with people, information, and resources that will help you do ministry better.
Connect happens in early July. |
While many pastors and church leaders attend this event, it is open to anyone who is interested in ministry or in our Fellowship. There is plenty going on that will help you do ministry, whether you are a paid staff member, a volunteer leader, or a layperson who just wants to help.
Each FEBC church is asked to provide delegates to Connect, to vote at our Annual General Meetings. Both the national and international meetings are held during this event. If you are interested in attending, ask your church leaders if they still need delegates. |
Both print and online registration forms will be available here on our website. Your local church leaders should also be able to help you register. Before registering, ask your local church leaders if they need more delegates.

What can i expect at connect?
Expect to feel like you are at a family gathering. There is something special about believers from similar churches in different parts of Canada and the US coming together to fellowship and to encourage one another. You will quickly find that you have far more in common than you might have guessed.
Expect a casual environment, with a healthy dose of fun to go with lots of learning and engagement. Expect to come away with new ideas for ministry and new friends that are experiencing the same struggles and victories in ministry as you.

A Breakout Session is an opportunity to dive deeper into one topic in a smaller group setting. There are sessions on Friday and Saturday afternoon, so you can choose two of the sessions. Each year we bring in experts to address various topics relevant to local church ministry.
what are directed ministry conversations?
Directed Ministry Conversations are opportunities to get together with others who work in the same area of ministry as you to discuss methods, stories, and ideas. You’ll talk about things that work well and things that haven’t worked so well to sharpen what your church is doing. You are not alone!

what is the project offering about?
