Jansen Bible Church - Jansen, Nebraska
Jansen Bible Church, a member of the FEBC, is a non-denominational bible church that is looking for
a full time pastor. Our current pastor has been faithfully serving the body for over 30 years and
will soon be retiring.
Community Profile:
Jansen Bible Church is located in Jansen, NE, a peaceful Southeastern Nebraska community with a
down home attitude and an affordable cost of living. We are located six miles from Fairbury, a town
of 3,000 with restaurants and various retail outlets, including a Super Walmart. We are also only
an hour from Lincoln, a major metropolitan area with a population over 200,000.
Church Profile:
Jansen Bible Church has modern facilities, with a comfortably sized sanctuary, an ample supply of
classrooms, and a large Fellowship Hall with a kitchen/serving area. There is wi-fi throughout all
buildings, as well as a large dedicated pastor's study.
Jansen Bible Church operates under the motto, "Edification within the church, evangelism around the
church, and participation in missions around the world." With a strong emphasis on missions, we
have had a number of our younger members become active full-time missionaries, as well as having
older retired missionaries return and make our church their home.
The church body is composed of people from the various small communities in the area and includes a
range of ages (including several multi-generational families). We have an active church membership
that is involved with leading youth and adult Sunday school classes, a children's service on Sunday
mornings, running the music program for worship services, and maintaining/overseeing the recording

Sunday morning services average 60-70 people. We also maintain a tradition of Sunday evening
services, as well as a Wednesday night Q&A bible study, a vibrant member led AWANA program, and
numerous member led bible studies (such as a weekly women's study, and a once a month men's
breakfast).
What we are looking for:
Jansen Bible Church is looking for a full-time minister who is seeking to learn, grow, and create a
long-term connection with a group of dedicated believers enthusiastic about living out the will of
God in their lives.
The right man for the job will be a student of the Word, with an unwavering confidence in the truth
and authority of the Scriptures. We are looking for an effective communicator, with a heart for
reaching the lost, a love of teaching the Word, and a desire to foster fellowship among the body.
